| ISPM15 is the new International Standards
for Phytosanitary measures which come into effect on the 1st March 2005
in South Africa. The standards cover the export of solid wood
packaging eg. pallets, crates, dunnage and all other types of wood
packaging. South Africa now requires all wood leaving our
country to be either heat treated or fumigated by a registered
company. All registered companies have a certificate and a unique
registration number which is supplied by the Agriculture Department. Scientific is very proud to announce that we have obtained the unique registration number from the department of Agriculture for the treatment of wood using, methyl bromide. Scientific Pest Control offers our customers 2 options for fumigation of wood for export.
